Dr. Catherine Insley, a highly skilled and compassionate GP, has been practicing for over 24 years. She initially qualified in 1988 from the University of London and began her medical career in the UK, where she specialized in family planning, particularly IUD insertions. After completing her GP and public health training in both Gosford, NSW, and the UK, Dr. Insley moved to Australia in 1999. She worked at the Family Planning Clinic in Chatswood and the Kirketon Road Clinic in Kings Cross, specializing in sexual health and drug & alcohol services.

Dr. Insley later joined Gynaecare (Clinic 66) on the North Shore, where she spent nine years honing her procedural skills in family planning, including IUD insertions, vasectomies, colposcopies, and terminations of pregnancy. In 2011, she became the Director at East Sydney Doctors, where she continues to serve her patients with an emphasis on preventative medicine and comprehensive reproductive health services.

She has also worked as a coordinator of care for Central Australia Health and RFDS retrievals, providing telehealth support and occasional fly-in locum services for remote communities in Central Australia. Her commitment to patient care and her expertise in reproductive health has made her a trusted medical professional in the Sydney area.
