Dr. Charles J. McKenna is a Consultant Cardiologist with extensive experience in adult cardiology, including interventional procedures. He began his medical studies at the University of Edinburgh in 1981, achieving merits in Anatomy, Biology, Computer Science, and Physiology. He also spent an elective period at Harvard University. He completed his medical degree in 1988 and his doctoral MD thesis on dilated cardiomyopathy in 1999. Dr. McKenna has worked at prestigious institutions such as the Mayo Clinic in the USA, the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, and the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. He has been involved in teaching and research, holding a Senior Clinical Lectureship at the University of Oxford and serving as the Clinical Research Lead for the Cardiology Department at Royal Berkshire Hospital.
