Dr. Claudia Montanaro is a Consultant Cardiologist specializing in adult congenital heart disease, cardiac MRI, and maternal cardiology. She leads the Adult Fontan Service at Royal Brompton Hospital and serves as an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London. Dr. Montanaro has received specialized training in adult congenital heart disease and cardiac MRI at Royal Brompton Hospital. She holds Level 3 European MRI accreditation in general cardiac and congenital heart disease MRI and European Congenital Echocardiogram certification. Her research focuses on outcomes in patients with congenital heart disease, particularly pulmonary atresia and ventricular septal defect, and 3D-CMR reconstruction of complex heart lesions.
