Dr.Derek Connolly is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with extensive experience in the detection, treatment, and prevention of coronary artery disease. He has been instrumental in developing one of the UK's first primary angioplasty programs and one of the largest cardiac CT programs. In addition to his clinical roles, he is actively involved in cardiovascular research and education, holding honorary academic positions at the University of Birmingham and Aston University. He has delivered over 300 invited lectures worldwide and is a member of several professional societies, including the British Cardiovascular Society and the European Society of Cardiology.
