Dr Dilek Akguen

Dr. Dilek Akguen brings over 18 years of experience to her role as a General Practitioner. Since completing her MBBS in 2005, she has focused her career on holistic family care, with a strong emphasis on women’s health, preventative screening, and immunisation programs for children. Her approach is both empathetic and evidence-based, ensuring patients feel heard and supported through all stages of life. Dr. Akguen also has extensive experience managing antenatal care, sexual health consultations, and skin checks, especially in the early detection and management of skin cancers. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her dedication to the highest standards of general practice.

Dr. Akguen has contributed to community health research projects focusing on preventative screening practices among women in rural and urban areas.
