Dr. Dwayne Conway is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with extensive experience in coronary heart disease, angina, myocardial infarction, and percutaneous coronary interventions (angiography and angioplasty). He practices at Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital and Circle Health Thornbury Hospital in Sheffield.
Dr. Conway completed his medical degree at the University of Birmingham in 1995 and underwent 11 years of postgraduate training across various UK cities, culminating in a 12-month Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Dalhousie University, Canada. He completed Cardiology Specialty Training in 2006 and has been a Consultant since 2007.
He has been instrumental in establishing and leading coronary intervention services at Freeman Hospital, Leeds General Infirmary, and Pinderfields Hospital.
Dr. Conway is committed to medical education and has directed regional and national courses for trainee cardiologists, including for the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society (BCIS). He serves as the Training Programme Director for Cardiology in South Yorkshire.
