Dr. Edward Davies is a Consultant Cardiologist at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. He completed his training in London and the Southwest. After completing his doctorate in the field of atrial fibrillation, he became the clinical lead for the devices and heart failure services in Plymouth.
He is proficient in implanting various cardiac devices, including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), cardiac resynchronization therapy devices, and loop recorders, performing over 300 procedures annually.
Dr. Davies holds full accreditation from the European Heart Rhythm Society and actively contributes to national and international studies on a wide range of cardiological topics.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Davies is involved in research, having authored peer-reviewed articles and served as a principal investigator in multinational studies.
