Dr Ee Ling Heng is a consultant cardiologist specialising in adult congenital heart disease and structural intervention, in London. She privately practises at The Cardiac Clinic while her NHS base is Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals. Her clinical expertise encompasses congenital heart disease, atrial septal defect closure and valvular heart disease, alongside mitral regurgitation, congenital heart disease, structural heart intervention and interventional cardiology techniques.
Dr Heng graduated from Imperial College London in 2006 with an MB BS and an intercalated BSc in Healthcare Management. She was then awarded a British Heart Foundation Clinical Research Training Fellowship to pursue her PhD on improved outcome prediction in Tetralogy of Fallot. Her research introduced innovative cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) techniques to assess interstitial fibrosis in the right ventricle and explored genomic predictors of outcomes in repaired Tetralogy of Fallot patients. She completed her cardiology training with the London Deanery and later undertook a prestigious adult congenital and structural interventional fellowship at Toronto General Hospital, University Health Network, Canada.
