Dr Emma Mather

Dr. Emma Mather is a dedicated General Practitioner with over 23 years of experience in medicine. After graduating with her MBBS from the University of Newcastle in 2000, she has spent the last 7 years working in the Newcastle area as a GP. Dr. Mather has also contributed to the profession as a medical educator, training the next generation of doctors.

Her clinical interests span the full breadth of general practice, with a strong focus on mental health and paediatrics. She holds a Diploma in Children’s Health and has actively volunteered in the community as a breastfeeding counsellor. Her empathetic, patient-centered care makes her a trusted provider for individuals and families alike.

Dr. Mather has contributed to research and education in the areas of child health, mental health, and primary care education. Her involvement in academic teaching and GP supervision reflects her commitment to continuous learning and evidence-based practice.
