Dr. Evie Tonkin has been practicing as a General Practitioner (GP) since 2014, after completing her MBBS at the University of Sydney. She went on to complete a Diploma of Child Health in 2016, and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2019.

Dr. Tonkin has worked at Nepean Hospital and Wagga Wagga Rural Referral Hospital early in her career, gaining valuable experience in hospital-based care. She later transitioned to general practice, where she focuses on child health, mental health, preventive care, and women's health. She has also trained in Focussed Psychological Strategies, a skill set that allows her to provide enhanced care for mental health concerns.
