Dr. Gemma Kim graduated from Sydney University in 1997 and began her medical career at Westmead Hospital, where she completed her internship and residency. She went on to complete her Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and later, her Diploma of Child Health (DCH) at Westmead Hospital.
Dr. Kim then pursued her GP fellowship training in Gosford, Raymond Terrace, and Penrith. In 2002, she joined Abbotsford General Practice and continued to expand her expertise in women’s health and general practice.
Her commitment to women’s health led her to join O’Connell St Clinic (formerly Gateway Quayside Medical Centre) in 2013, where she practices as an independent contracted GP, specializing in minor skin procedures, including the excision of skin lesions. Dr. Kim is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and is registered with Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital, and Royal North Shore Hospital (Manly Hospital) for Antenatal Shared Care.
