Dr Hamid Haijan

Dr. Hamid Haijan is a Sydney-based vascular and endovascular surgeon with extensive experience in treating conditions affecting the blood vessels and circulatory system. He graduated with an MBBS from the University of Sydney and went on to complete a PhD in vascular tissue engineering and biomaterials design from the same university. Dr. Haijan is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and is employed as a vascular surgery consultant at Nepean Hospital.

With over 15 years of experience in vascular surgery, Dr. Haijan specializes in minimally invasive interventions for peripheral vascular disease, varicose veins, aneurysms, and access surgery for dialysis and chemotherapy. He holds private clinical appointments at Macquarie University, Strathfield, and Nepean Private Hospitals, and performs day procedures at the Sydney Skin and Vein Clinic in Chatswood.

Dr. Haijan has a strong research background in vascular tissue engineering and the development of biomaterials. His work focuses on advancing the field of vascular surgery, particularly in creating innovative materials for vascular repair.
