Dr Heeraj Bulluck is a consultant cardiologist at Spire Leeds Hospital specialising in all aspects of general and interventional cardiology. He has expertise in chest painanginamicrovascular and vasospastic anginasMINOCApost-heart attack care, and ischemic heart disease secondary prevention.

 

Dr Bulluck completed his medical degree at Peking University Health Science Centre in Beijing in 2004. He came to the UK to undertake his cardiology training in the East of England Deanery, at hospitals in Norwich, Ipswich, and Cambridge. He obtained his PhD on the role of tissue characterisation by cardiovascular magnetic resonance in ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) from the University College London. He completed a complex coronary interventional fellowship at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital in Glasgow before being appointed consultant at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and subsequently at Leeds General Infirmary.

 

Dr Bulluck, as the Percutaneous Coronary Intervention research lead at Leeds General Infirmary, is a leader in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease and is actively engaged in research, with more than 120 scientific publications in his name. He is an honorary senior clinical lecturer at the University of Leeds.
