Dr. J Colin Doig is a Consultant Cardiologist and Physician with over 40 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1983 and has since specialized in cardiology and general internal medicine. Dr. Doig holds fellowships from both the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and the Royal College of Physicians of London.
He currently practices at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Nuffield Health Newcastle upon Tyne Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Doig serves as the Training Programme Director for General Internal Medicine at Health Education England, North East, overseeing the training and assessment of medical trainees in the region.
His areas of expertise include the management of acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, hypertension, and palpitations.
