Dr. Julian Lai was born and raised in Sydney and initially pursued a career in physiotherapy and it has 8 year of experience. graduating from the University of Sydney in 2013. After working as a physiotherapist for several years, Dr. Lai decided to expand his medical knowledge by pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree abroad. He graduated in 2021 as an international medical graduate.
After successfully completing all Australian Medical Council (AMC) examination requirements, Dr. Lai undertook his internship at Mater Private Hospital in Townsville in 2023. Following his internship, he completed his residency at Townsville University Hospital. Dr. Lai’s experiences in both physiotherapy and medicine allow him to approach patient care with a unique perspective, combining a strong understanding of musculoskeletal health with general medical care.
Dr. Lai’s medical interests are in general practice, musculoskeletal medicine, and rehabilitation, making use of his physiotherapy background to deliver comprehensive care to his patients. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and is passionate about preventive medicine and patient education.
