Dr. Karen Atanis is a skilled and compassionate paediatrician with over 15 years of experience in the medical field. After completing her medical degree in 2005, Dr. Atanis pursued her paediatric training and became a fully trained paediatrician in 2010 in the Philippines. She has held various positions as a paediatric registrar and resident medical officer (RMO) at Hornsby Hospital and other hospitals across Sydney.

Dr. Atanis has worked as a panel physician for Bupa Medical Visa Services under the Department of Immigration and practised around Kempsey and Port Macquarie during her GP training. With a broad spectrum of expertise, she is particularly focused on paediatric health, chronic disease management, women’s health, and skin cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Dr. Atanis has also contributed to the medical field as a sub-investigator for a clinical research trial for an international pharmaceutical company. This diverse clinical experience makes her a well-rounded physician capable of addressing a wide range of health concerns for patients of all ages.
