Dr. Karen Atanis is a skilled and compassionate paediatrician with over 15 years of experience in the medical field. After completing her medical degree in 2005, Dr. Atanis pursued her paediatric training and became a fully trained paediatrician in 2010 in the Philippines. She has held various positions as a paediatric registrar and resident medical officer (RMO) at Hornsby Hospital and other hospitals across Sydney.
Dr. Atanis has worked as a panel physician for Bupa Medical Visa Services under the Department of Immigration and practised around Kempsey and Port Macquarie during her GP training. With a broad spectrum of expertise, she is particularly focused on paediatric health, chronic disease management, women’s health, and skin cancer diagnosis and treatment.
