She obtained her MBBS from the University of Newcastle and completed specialist training in Neurology at St Vincent’s Hospital (Sydney) and Liverpool Hospital. Dr. Rigney furthered her expertise by completing a Fellowship in Neuromuscular Medicine and Neuroimmunology training at Concord Hospital.

With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Rigney has worked at Campbelltown Hospital, where she headed the Neurophysiology Department, in addition to her private practice at Neurology New South Wales in Roseville and North Sydney. She is also appointed as a Senior Lecturer at Western Sydney University, where she contributes to the education and training of future medical professionals.
