Dr Marcus Hayward

Dr. Marcus Hayward has over 13 years of experience in the medical field. He initially studied Bachelor of Science with a focus on Genetics and Immunology at the University of Sydney before deciding to pursue medicine. Dr. Hayward completed his MBBS at the same institution in 2010, followed by hospital training at Concord and Canterbury Hospitals. During this time, he gained valuable experience in multiple fields, including Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and Palliative Care.

Dr. Hayward’s specializations include Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Skin Cancer Medicine, and Child Health. His passion for child health led him to pursue additional qualifications in this area, along with skin cancer medicine, further enhancing his expertise in dermatology and cancer care.

In 2018, Dr. Hayward made the tree-change to Bathurst, where he now operates his own medical services business at Russell St Medical Centre. He enjoys a broad range of clinical interests and provides general care with a focus on preventative medicine, skin cancer detection, and paediatrics. He is known for his holistic approach to healthcare, working closely with families and the local community.
