Dr Matthew Nguyen

Dr. Matthew Nguyen began his career at Tallowwood Health in August 2021, bringing his expertise and passion for healthcare to the community of Tamworth, NSW. He completed his undergraduate medical education at Western Sydney University, graduating in 2016. Following graduation, Dr. Nguyen spent his junior doctor years at Westmead and Windsor hospitals, where he gained valuable experience in various medical fields, including emergency care, internal medicine, and surgery.

Dr. Nguyen has a strong interest in skin cancer management and family medicine. He is dedicated to providing quality care for individuals of all ages, and his focus is on preventing, diagnosing, and managing conditions that affect the skin and overall health. With over 5 years of experience since completing his degree, Dr. Nguyen is committed to delivering holistic care and building lasting relationships with his patients.

Dr. Nguyen has been involved in various initiatives related to skin cancer management and general family medicine. His research interests include improving early detection of skin cancers, understanding risk factors, and developing better treatment protocols for patients in rural areas. he remains actively engaged in medical education and research projects that aim to enhance patient outcomes in these specialties.
