Dr. Miriam Grotowski graduated from the University of Newcastle in 1989 and has been practicing general medicine in Tamworth since 1991. With over 30 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Grotowski has developed a particular interest in mental health, eating disorders, paediatrics, and sexual health.

Dr. Grotowski is committed to providing holistic care for individuals across all age groups, especially focusing on sensitive issues such as eating disorders and mental health in both children and adults. She completed her Diploma in Psychiatry in 2002, which greatly enhanced her expertise in psychiatric care and psychological assessments.

In addition to her work as a General Practitioner (GP), Dr. Grotowski is also a Senior Lecturer at the University of Newcastle Department of Rural Health, where she plays a significant role in supporting medical students and junior doctors who are training in the Tamworth region. Dr. Grotowski has enjoyed teaching the next generation of doctors and is passionate about improving the quality of healthcare in rural areas.

She consults on Tuesdays and Fridays, offering her extensive experience in general practice and her specialized knowledge in mental health and paediatrics.
