Dr Mrinal Saha is a highly esteemed consultant cardiologist based in Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals, with over a decade of experience as a consultant. ​He specialises in the investigation and management of adult heart conditions, including angina, coronary artery disease, hypertension, heart rhythm disorders, and heart valve disease.

Appointed in 2010, he has served as the clinical lead in the Cardiology Department at Gloucestershire Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Dr Saha trained at some of the UK’s most prestigious institutions, including Trinity College, Cambridge, and St Bartholomew’s and St Thomas’s Hospitals in London, where he completed a British Heart Foundation research fellowship, earning a PhD in Cardiovascular Medicine from the University of London.

He is known for introducing innovative techniques, such as the "Rotapro" and "Shockwave" systems, to Gloucestershire, enabling advanced treatment of heavily calcified heart arteries. His expertise includes performing coronary angiograms, angioplasty (stent insertion), and utilising cutting-edge technologies like intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and intravascular lithotripsy (IVL) to optimise patient outcomes. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Saha offers a comprehensive "One Stop" Cardiac Screening Service, including private echo scans and heart rhythm patch testing.
