Dr Nicola Hicks

Dr. Nicola Hicks is a highly skilled GP currently completing the final parts of her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). She has been practicing at Tallowwood Health since 2019, where she has built a reputation for her compassionate care and her expertise in paediatrics, preventative care, and palliative care.

Dr. Hicks has worked in various healthcare settings, giving her a broad understanding of medical conditions across age groups. She believes in holistic, patient-centered care and aims to empower her patients with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their health. With over 6 years of experience in general practice, Dr. Hicks is passionate about preventive health and ensuring her patients receive comprehensive care.

Dr. Hicks has been involved in research focused on paediatrics and preventive medicine, particularly in rural areas. Her research has focused on improving access to care and health outcomes for children in underserved communities, as well as advancing approaches to palliative care for patients with life-limiting conditions. Though she is not yet widely published, she continues to collaborate with other professionals to improve patient care and treatment methods.
