Dr Nidhi Sharma

Dr. Nidhi Sharma graduated from Sydney University and has accumulated over 14 years of experience in general practice. She completed her internship and residency at Orange Base Hospital, where she gained invaluable experience in acute care before transitioning into General Practice.

Since then, Dr. Sharma has worked as a General Practitioner in Orange, Bathurst, and Blayney, providing comprehensive healthcare to families and individuals. Her clinical focus includes child and adolescent health, mental health, and women's health, with special expertise in minor surgical procedures such as contraception/birth control.

Dr. Sharma has developed a compassionate approach to patient care, with a particular focus on mental health support for her patients, especially adolescents and women. She enjoys the diversity of general practice and continues to contribute to her community's health and well-being.

Dr. Sharma has contributed to research in child and adolescent health, mental health, and women’s health. She has been involved in studies exploring the mental health challenges faced by adolescents, particularly those dealing with stress, anxiety, and depression.

Her research interests also include preventative health measures for women, focusing on contraception options and family planning, as well as chronic disease prevention in young adults.
