Dr Nikesh Malik is a leading consultant cardiologist and interventionalist with over 20 years’ experience based in London. He concentrates on multiple cardiac issues and specialises in coronary angioplasty, coronary artery disease and hypertension, as well as interventional cardiology, arrhythmia and palpitations.
Dr Malik studied medicine at the prestigious St George's Medical School, University of London. Following his studies, he pursued further training at St George's Hospital in London. He completed his medicine residency at University of Leicester.
He is actively involved in research, with a keen interest in prevention and treatment of coronary stent thrombosis and intravascular imaging. He has worked as a co-ordinator and a co-investigator for several national and international clinical trials and research studies.
Dr Malik is also heavily involved in teaching, boasting several year’s experience working as a clinical supervisor to cardiology trainees in his NHS practices. He has also organised and taught numerous training courses for both cardiology trainees and consultant colleagues.
