Dr. Paschal Nwafor graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Sydney in 2010. After completing his degree, Dr. Nwafor began working at Nepean, Concord, and Canterbury Hospitals, gaining valuable experience in hospital-based care across multiple specialties.
In 2018, Dr. Nwafor transitioned to General Practice, where he underwent training in GP practice and completed his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2020. With over 10 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Nwafor has developed a keen interest in general practice, particularly in chronic disease management, preventative care, and patient-centered health care.
Since relocating to Tamworth, Dr. Nwafor has been providing comprehensive care at East Tamworth Medical Centre. He has a special interest in children’s health, particularly in early childhood development, immunizations, and preventative care. Dr. Nwafor is also passionate about mental health, helping patients manage mental health conditions through a combination of medical treatment, counseling, and lifestyle changes.
