Dr Rodney Foale is a highly experienced and distinguished consultant cardiologist based in London. He carries out initial consultations, second opinions and a personal service based on symptomatic diagnosis and medical history – then referring patients to the most appropriate specialist within the cardiology team.

Dr Foale qualified from the University of Melbourne in 1971 with honours. He onwards trained at St Vincent’s Hospital before travelling to India to practise in Madras and Kashmir. He undertook his registry at the prestigious National Heart Hospital and additionally completed a training programme at the renowned Hammersmith and Royal London hospitals. Between 1980 and 1982, Dr Foale notably accomplished a highly competitive clinical fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Dr Foale currently serves as the co-director of the International Centre for Circulatory Health, supporting research at St Mary’s Hospital and Imperial College London. His NHS base is St Mary’s Imperial Hospital, where he serves since 1986 and is also the clinical director of surgery (including cardiovascular medicine and intensive care). Dr Foale additionally holds esteemed fellowships to the illustrious Royal College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology, and Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand.
