Dr Samuel Saltoon

Dr. Samuel Saltoon graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2010, and since then has accumulated over 10 years of experience as a General Practitioner (GP). He has developed a strong interest in sexual health, mental health, and preventative medicine, and is an S100 prescriber for HIV medications and PrEP. His professional journey includes working with marginalized populations, having previously served at The Orange Aboriginal Medical Service, The Forensic Hospital, and Kirketon Road Centre, all of which provided him with valuable experience in community healthcare and sexual health services.

Dr. Saltoon also has experience working internationally, with roles in Emergency Medicine in South Africa, the Philippines, and in homeless healthcare in London. He brings his compassionate and empathetic approach to healthcare, focusing on preventative care and offering a broad spectrum of treatments, including cosmetic injectables. With his diverse background, Dr. Saltoon continues to advocate for the health and well-being of all his patients, particularly those in marginalized groups.

Dr. Saltoon has been actively involved in sexual health and mental health research, particularly focusing on HIV prevention and PrEP strategies for at-risk populations. He has worked alongside community health organizations to improve access to preventative care and addiction treatment services. His research interests also include addiction medicine, in which he has completed OTAC training. Dr. Saltoon regularly attends international healthcare conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest treatment modalities and preventative care strategies.
