Dr Sarah Spencer

Dr. Sarah Spencer moved to Tamworth from Rouse Hill, Sydney, after completing her medical degree at the University of Sydney. She had fond memories of the region after completing placements in Bingara and decided to make Tamworth her home. Dr. Spencer has over 6 years of experience in general practice since completing her degree and is passionate about providing a wide range of services to her patients.

She enjoys the full spectrum of General Practice and has developed a particular interest in Child Health and Skin Cancer Management. She believes in a holistic, patient-centered approach to care, addressing both physical and emotional aspects of health. Dr. Spencer is also committed to improving healthcare delivery in rural and remote communities, where her expertise in general practice, child health, and skin cancer management is highly valued.

Dr. Spencer has been involved in research focused on skin cancer prevention and early detection. As part of her work in skin cancer management, she has contributed to local awareness programs aimed at educating the public about the risks of skin cancer and the importance of regular skin checks. Dr. Spencer is also interested in the role of child health care in rural communities, specifically focusing on improving access to pediatric services in these areas.

 Dr. Spencer regularly participates in medical seminars and conferences to share her knowledge and contribute to the advancement of healthcare practices, particularly in rural settings.
