DR SISI ZHAO

Dr. Zhao has over 10 years of experience in medicine, having completed her MBBS in 2010 and her GP training in 2016. Before becoming a GP, Dr. Zhao worked in Emergency Medicine at various NSW hospitals and volunteered in remote areas of Asia and Africa, gaining valuable experience in global health.

Dr. Zhao enjoys all aspects of General Practice, especially paediatrics, women's health, and acute care, and is committed to providing holistic, patient-centered care.

Dr. Sisi Zhao has contributed to research in the fields of Tropical Medicine, Public Health, and Paediatrics, with a focus on global health challenges and healthcare delivery in underserved regions. Her experiences volunteering in remote areas of Asia and Africa have provided valuable insights into tropical diseases and public health interventions in low-resource settings.

Dr. Zhao’s research has involved studying the impact of preventative healthcare programs, particularly those focused on child health and infectious diseases. She has also explored emergency medical responses in regions affected by natural disasters and health crises, contributing to clinical guidelines for remote medical practices.

Dr. Sisi Zhao has a strong foundation in both general practice and global health, with over 10 years of experience in the medical field. After graduating with her MBBS from UNSW in 2010, she worked in Emergency Medicine across several NSW hospitals and volunteered with medical organizations in remote parts of Asia and Africa. Her experiences in these diverse settings have enriched her ability to understand healthcare needs at both the individual and community levels.

Dr. Zhao holds several postgraduate qualifications, including a Diploma in Child Health, Emergency Medicine Certificate, Diploma of Tropical Medicine, and Master of International Public Health. These qualifications complement her deep passion for preventive care and health education, both of which are key aspects of her medical practice.

Her professional journey has been driven by a commitment to improving healthcare access and quality, particularly for underserved populations. Dr. Zhao integrates her knowledge from both clinical practice and global health into her work as a General Practitioner, focusing on paediatrics, women’s health, and acute care.
