Dr Sudhakar George is a highly skilled consultant interventional and structural cardiologist based in Birmingham who specialises in adult cardiology. His areas of expertise include chest pain, breathlessness, dizziness, palpitations and collapse. Notably, he is highly proficient in cardiac catheterisation, angioplasty, and the use of intravascular imaging and pressure wire assessment, as well as in the treatment of severe aortic stenosis with transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI).

A Cambridge University graduate, Dr George earned his MBBChir in 2005 and subsequently completed a research MD in structural cardiology at the University of Sussex, focusing on cutting-edge research in the field of patent foramen ovale. His subspecialty training in interventional cardiology was undertaken in the West Midlands Deanery. He later accomplished a prestigious international fellowship in percutaneous coronary intervention, sponsored by the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society, at the Green Lane Unit in Auckland
