Dr. Syed Ahsan is a Consultant Cardiologist and Heart Rhythm Specialist based in London. He graduated with a first-class honours degree from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Medical School in 2000. Dr. Ahsan completed his cardiology specialist training at renowned hospitals in London, including the Royal Brompton Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, and the Heart Hospital, where he undertook his fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology and cardiac devices. He was awarded an MD from University College London for his research on optimizing outcomes in patients with cardiac rhythm devices. Dr. Ahsan is actively involved in clinical practice, research, and teaching, leading the atrial fibrillation and electrophysiology training programmes at Barts Health Centre.
