Dr. Syed Muntasser (Monte) Islam graduated with an MBBS from the University of Western Australia in 2009 and has over 14 years of experience in general practice. Following his medical degree, Dr. Muntasser worked in various clinical settings, where he gained significant experience in hospital medicine and general practice.

In 2023, he completed his MBA with first-class honours from the University of Melbourne, expanding his expertise to include healthcare management, policy, and administration. This unique combination of medical training and business acumen allows Dr. Muntasser to approach patient care from both a clinical and administrative perspective, improving both the clinical outcomes and efficiency of healthcare systems.

Dr. Muntasser has a particular interest in chronic disease management, preventative care, and healthcare efficiency. He aims to enhance patient care through data-driven approaches and by incorporating management strategies learned through his MBA into his practice.
