Dr. Syema Khan began her medical career in Australia as a Resident Medical Officer at Lyell McEwin Hospital, Adelaide. She then worked as a Senior Resident Medical Officer at Ipswich Hospital, Queensland, where she gained hands-on experience in a wide variety of medical specialties, including acute medicine, general medicine, emergency medicine, general surgery, psychiatry, paediatrics, obstetrics, and gynaecology.
Dr. Khan completed The Adelaide Prevocational Psychiatry Program at Glenside Campus in South Australia, further honing her expertise in mental health. She began her journey as a General Practitioner (GP) in Broken Hill, completing her rural training.
