Dr Upekkha Molligoda

Dr. Upekkha Molligoda is a medical graduate from Sri Lanka with Australian Medical Council registration. With over 10 years of medical experience, Dr. Molligoda has worked across various specialties, including medicine, surgery, cardiology, and emergency medicine.

Her special interest lies in women’s health, but she thoroughly enjoys practicing across all areas of general practice. Dr. Molligoda moved to Dubbo with her family, where she has embraced the close-knit community, becoming an integral part of the local healthcare environment. As a privately billing GP, she provides comprehensive healthcare services to her patients, including concession card holders.

Dr. Molligoda has been involved in several clinical research projects focused on women’s health and chronic disease management. She is particularly interested in early detection and prevention of cardiovascular diseases and mental health issues in women. Her research also extends to improving patient care in emergency settings, where she has contributed to several studies on better management of acute conditions in rural healthcare.
