Dr. Venkatesan Suresh is a Consultant Cardiologist specializing in general and interventional cardiology. He completed his undergraduate training in India and his general medicine training in the UK, obtaining MRCP London in 1998. After intensive postgraduate training in general and interventional cardiology in the South-West of England, he obtained his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in cardiology in 2009.
He has been practicing as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at University Hospitals Plymouth since 2009, performing high-volume coronary angioplasties and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) procedures with excellent outcomes.
Dr. Suresh is a member of the British Cardiac Interventional Society (BCIS), British Cardiac Society (BCS), and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians London (FRCP).
