Dr. A. Kadir Bacakoglu

Dr. A. Kadir Bacakoglu is a distinguished Orthopedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon with over 29 years of experience in orthopedics, trauma surgery, and hand surgery. He graduated with an MD from Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Medicine, Izmir, in 1992. He went on to complete his specialization in Orthopedics at Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1997.

Dr. Bacakoglu’s expertise lies in the field of hand surgery and the treatment of upper and lower extremity conditions. He has an extensive background in treating congenital hand anomalies, spasticity, arthroscopic surgeries, wrist fractures, and various joint replacements. He is also an expert in nerve injuries, tendon repairs, and fracture management, particularly in the wrist, shoulder, and elbow regions.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Bacakoglu is an associate professor jury member of the Interuniversity Board and has served as a thesis guide. He has contributed to the field through numerous presentations, research projects, and global medical conferences.

Dr. Bacakoglu has contributed significantly to orthopedic research, particularly in the fields of hand surgery, joint replacements, and arthroscopic surgery. He has participated in several international research projects and has published numerous papers in national and international medical journals. His research interests include the treatment of wrist fractures, congenital upper extremity deformities, and arthroscopic joint surgeries.

His work on spasticity treatment and the management of cerebral palsy in the context of orthopedic care has gained recognition in both clinical and academic circles.

He has also contributed to the study of nerve injuries and spinal deformities, with published works in The Journal of Orthopedic Research and European Spine Journal.
