He graduated with an MD from Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Medicine, Izmir, in 1992. He went on to complete his specialization in Orthopedics at Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1997.

Dr. Bacakoglu’s expertise lies in the field of hand surgery and the treatment of upper and lower extremity conditions. He has an extensive background in treating congenital hand anomalies, spasticity, arthroscopic surgeries, wrist fractures, and various joint replacements. He is also an expert in nerve injuries, tendon repairs, and fracture management, particularly in the wrist, shoulder, and elbow regions.
