Dr. Abdullah Iqbal is a General Surgeon & Laser Proctologist (MBBS; FCPS – General Surgery) and Pakistan’s first Laser Proctologist, practising at Karachi Piles Clinic, Karachi. He is a member of the European Society of Coloproctology (ESCP) and the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons (FASCRS), with certified training in laser proctology (2021).

With 13+ years of surgical experience — 5+ years dedicated to laser proctology — he has treated 13,000+ patients and performed 5,000+ laser procedures. He specialises in painless, minimally invasive, day-care laser treatment for:

• Piles / Haemorrhoids — laser haemorrhoidopexy
• Anal fissure — laser sphincterotomy
• Anal fistula — FiLaC (fistula-tract laser closure)
• Pilonidal sinus — SiLaC (sinus laser closure)

He also performs laparoscopic gallbladder surgery, hernia repair, perianal abscess drainage and genital-wart treatment.
