Dr. Akintunde Akinola Akinrinmade

• Consultant Haematologist at Cedarcrest Hospitals, Abuja

• Over 35 years of medical practice, including key leadership and clinical roles in the Nigerian Army Medical Corps, retiring at the rank of Colonel in July 2021

• Specialist in haematooncology and blood transfusion, with interests in complex blood disorders and laboratory diagnostics

• Involved in medical education, clinical laboratory management, and capacity building in Nigeria

Dr Akintunde Akinola Akinrinmade, MBBS, FWACP, AMNIM, psc, MSS, FSS is a consultant haematologist with Cedarcrest Hospitals, Abuja.

He is a graduate of the University of Ilorin Medical School and a product of the prestigious Amadu Bello University Teaching Hospital Zaria, residency programme.

He served the Nigerian Army in many capacities practicing both as a medical doctor while also holding many command positions. He holds the Pass Staff Course award of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College and is also a logistician haven attended the Nigerian Army College of Logistics. He retired after 35 years in service at the rank of Colonel in July 2021.

Col AA Akinrinmade rtd, is a fellow of the West African College of Physicians and a member of the Nigerian Society for Haematology and Blood Transfusion. His interests are in haematooncology and blood transfusion medicine.

He is married to Mopelola and they are blessed with 3 children.
