Dr. Ana Rita Sousa is an experienced Nutritionist specializing in pediatric nutrition. She holds a degree in Nutrition Sciences from the University of Porto, a Master’s in Health Education from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto, and postgraduate training in Pediatric Food and Nutrition from Nova Medical School. In addition to her clinical work, she has been actively involved in various educational and entrepreneurial projects.
She is the creator of the project "Gente de Palmo e Meio", which focuses on disseminating scientific information in an accessible format via her social media platforms and website since 2020. Dr. Sousa is also the co-creator of the brand "Com a Comida Não Se Brinca", which produces games and educational materials aimed at improving pediatric nutrition.
Currently, Dr. Sousa is working as a pediatric nutritionist at the Up2kids Clinic and Parenting Center, providing nutrition advice for children, adolescents, and pregnant women. Additionally, she is a trainer for courses on pediatric nutrition, including a course called "Update in Pediatric Nutrition" at Nutriens Academy.
