Dr. Celia Valenzuela

Dr. Celia Valenzuela is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with more than two decades of clinical experience in women’s health. She provides comprehensive care for women across all life stages, from adolescence through menopause, with expertise in childbirth, reproductive health, and gynecological surgery. In addition to her clinical work at Banner Health Diamond Children’s Medical Center, she serves as Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and as Vice Dean for Access, Community, and Belonging. She is recognized for her patient-focused approach, commitment to diversity and inclusion in healthcare, and dedication to mentoring future physicians.

Dr. Valenzuela has contributed to academic research in maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive health equity, and medical education. Her work includes studies on diversity in fellowship recruitment, patient access to obstetric care, and improving maternal outcomes. She has presented at national conferences and has been published in respected journals, including the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
