Dr. Cliff Fairley is an MBBS and FRANZCO-certified ophthalmologist with over 20 years of surgical experience, specializing in cataract surgery, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and glaucoma treatment. He graduated from the University of Queensland and was awarded a Queensland Government Rural Scholarship. After working for four years in rural and general medicine, Dr. Fairley pursued his specialist training in ophthalmology at Sydney Eye Hospital and Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in surgical and medical retina. He began private practice in Brisbane in 2004 and founded Eye Co. Ophthalmic Surgeons, providing advanced eye care services, including cataract and glaucoma surgery. Dr. Fairley is also involved in teaching and mentoring future ophthalmologists, having been a senior lecturer at the University of Queensland. He has extensive experience in treating age-related eye conditions and has worked extensively with the Fred Hollows Foundation in Central Australia and Vietnam.
