He earned his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College in 1999 and completed his residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. Dr. Weiland furthered his expertise with fellowships in sports medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Australia.
