Dr. Borowski graduated in 1996 from Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf, Germany. He completed his MD in 2007 at Newcastle University, UK, focusing on organizational factors in the management of colorectal cancer. He undertook higher surgical training in the Northern Deanery, UK, including a fellowship in laparoscopic colorectal surgery, and was appointed as Consultant General & Colorectal Surgeon at University Hospital North Tees in 2011. In 2015, he relocated to Namibia and established the Erongo Surgical Practice at Welwitschia Hospital in Walvis Bay. His clinical interests include thyroid, breast, hernia surgery, and a wide range of gastrointestinal and colorectal procedures. He is also involved in medical education and organizes the Coastal Continuing Professional Development (CPD) meetings in the Erongo region.
