Dennis P. Lewis, MD, the Medical Director, graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine in 1992 and upon graduation, was chosen by UCLAâ€™s faculty to become a member of the highly prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society (a lifetime membership). Dr. Lewis completed his residency at the UCLA Department of Family Medicine, and served as a clinical professor in the UCLA Department of Family Medicine until 2004 when he joined SCV Quality Care as its Medical Director. Dr. Lewis is board certified in Family Medicine (100th percentile), is a diplomate of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and upon invitation, has worked with the American Board of Family Medicine throughout the years to develop the Family Medicine board certification exams. Dr. Lewis works with Kathy Herrera (Nurse Practitioner) and Alex Turnipseed (PA) and strives to provide comprehensive and excellent medical care and treatment to their patients.
