Dr. Emily Hedditch

Dr. Emily Hedditch is a General Practitioner with over 7 years of experience in family medicine and women’s and children’s health. She completed her MBBS degree at the University of Sydney in 2016 and continued her postgraduate training at St George Hospital in Sydney, where she gained a broad range of experience in acute care and specialized medical conditions.

After completing her training, Dr. Hedditch moved to Orange in 2019 and began working in general practice, where she quickly became known for her special interest in women’s and children’s health. She completed her General Practice Training in 2023 and has continued to develop her skills in family medicine.

Dr. Hedditch has contributed to research in the fields of women’s health, pediatric care, and preventative healthcare. She has been involved in studies on childhood vaccinations, early intervention in women’s health, and preventative care strategies for families.

Her research focuses on integrating preventative health into general practice and improving health outcomes for children and women through routine screenings and early disease detection.

She has also written textbooks for medical students and has been involved in conference presentations on women’s health and childhood disease prevention.
