Dr. Fahad Afzal Shaikh is a registered Medical Oncologist and Hemato Oncologist practising at Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre in Mumbai, which is one of the oldest and highly reputed tertiary care multi-specialty trust hospital of the country.After specialising in Internal Medicine, Dr Fahad underwent formal DNB training in Medical Oncology from Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad, which is one of the largest corporate Hospitals group in South India with over 3000 beds spread across 9 locations in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.He is well adept at medical management of patients with cancers of breast, lung, colon, prostate, ovary and so on. He is also proficient in managing immunocompromised and neutropenic patients, inserting and care of central venous lines, administration of chemotherapeutic agents by intravenous/subcutaneous/intrathecal routes as well as managing their toxicities.
