Dr. Howard Allan Fishbein

Dr. Howard Allan Fishbein is a highly experienced Family Medicine Specialist with over 49 years of practice in primary care, chronic disease management, and preventive healthcare. He currently practices at Family Care Centers Medical Group Inc. in Irvine, California, where he offers comprehensive care to families, individuals, and elderly patients. Dr. Fishbein is renowned for his deep knowledge of geriatric care and his holistic, patient-focused approach to medicine.

Dr. Fishbein has participated in numerous clinical studies and research projects focused on geriatric health, chronic disease prevention, and early detection of age-related conditions. His contributions to evidence-based medical practices have helped shape modern family healthcare.

Dr. Fishbein received his undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University. He attended Chicago Medical School and completed his residency in family medicine at Memorial Hospital in Long Beach. Prior to joining Family Care Centers in 2009, Dr. Fishbein owned and operated his private office in Irvine, where he practiced Family Medicine for 30 years. He is also the physician for the performers and staff of Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine. Dr. Fishbein was on the original board of directors and executive committee of Irvine Medical Center which is now Hoag Hospital Irvine. He is past chairman of the department of Family Medicine at both Hoag Hospital and Irvine Medical Center. He continues to participate in community volunteer organizations such as Families Forward and Flying Samaritans. He was a founding member of PICH (People for an Irvine Community Hospital). He has been a volunteer faculty member in the Family Practice Department at UCI. He plays keyboards in two Rock and Roll bands (Alter Ego and Citizen Joe). He enjoys softball by playing on a men’s league in Irvine and coaching at University High School also in Irvine.
