Dr. Fishbein received his undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University. He attended Chicago Medical School and completed his residency in family medicine at Memorial Hospital in Long Beach. Prior to joining Family Care Centers in 2009, Dr. Fishbein owned and operated his private office in Irvine, where he practiced Family Medicine for 30 years. He is also the physician for the performers and staff of Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine. Dr. Fishbein was on the original board of directors and executive committee of Irvine Medical Center which is now Hoag Hospital Irvine. He is past chairman of the department of Family Medicine at both Hoag Hospital and Irvine Medical Center. He continues to participate in community volunteer organizations such as Families Forward and Flying Samaritans. He was a founding member of PICH (People for an Irvine Community Hospital). He has been a volunteer faculty member in the Family Practice Department at UCI. He plays keyboards in two Rock and Roll bands (Alter Ego and Citizen Joe). He enjoys softball by playing on a men’s league in Irvine and coaching at University High School also in Irvine.
