Dr. Dixon is a board-certified general and cardiothoracic surgeon based in Bend, Oregon. She earned her medical degree from Texas A&M University in 2009, followed by a general surgery residency at Texas A&M Baylor Scott & White Hospital, which she completed in 2015. During her training, she dedicated a year to research in patient safety. She then completed a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Oregon Health & Science University in 2017.
Dr. Dixon has clinical interests in cardiac surgery, thoracic oncology and non-cardiac thoracic procedures. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of pulmonary nodules and is skilled in advanced bronchoscopy, minimally invasive techniques and robotic-assisted surgery.
Outside of her surgical practice, Dr. Dixon enjoys hiking in beautiful Central Oregon, participating in musical theater and raising her two teenagers.
