Dr. Lindiwe Mofutsanyana

Dr. Lindiwe Mofutsanyana has 15 years of experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology, specializing in maternal and reproductive health. After completing her MBBS and MD in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Lesotho, Dr. Mofutsanyana dedicated her career to ensuring that women in her community receive the highest level of care during pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond. She works at Mafeteng District Hospital, where she is known for her expertise in managing both routine and high-risk pregnancies, performing surgeries such as cesarean sections, and offering postnatal care. Dr. Mofutsanyana is committed to providing comprehensive care to women and promoting education around reproductive health and maternal care.

Dr. Mofutsanyana has conducted research on maternal health, particularly focused on improving prenatal care and reducing maternal mortality. Her research interests include the prevention and management of pregnancy-related complications, such as preeclampsia and gestational diabetes, and improving the overall quality of care for pregnant women. She has also studied the impact of early prenatal care and community health programs in preventing pregnancy-related complications. Dr. Mofutsanyana’s research findings have been shared at regional health conferences and published in local medical journals, helping to shape best practices for obstetric care in Lesotho.
