Dr. Mathias E. Mwandu has 22 years of experience in General Surgery. After graduating with his Medical Degree from the University of Dar es Salaam in 1997, Dr. Mwandu specialized in General Surgery in 2003.
During his career, he has gained expertise in gastrointestinal surgeries, hernia repairs, trauma surgery, and laparoscopic procedures. Dr. Mwandu has performed hundreds of emergency surgeries, treating trauma patients and life-threatening conditions. He has also worked in surgical oncology, performing tumor removals and treating cancer patients.
